The most popular questions answered
I am frequently asked about the difference between a patio cleaning and a patio restoration.
Many patios are cleaned by the general public using low-pressure machines, which may result in a satisfactory appearance for a short period. However, over time, the quality of the clean diminishes, and black spots and lichen tend to reappear more prominently compared to the results achieved by professional pressure washing companies.
It is important to note that pressure washing alone will not eliminate black spots and lichen.
The treatment method depends on the type of stone being cleaned and may involve steam, cold low-pressure washing, and a combination of specialized trade chemicals. This approach also helps prevent damage to the pointing between joints, depending on its condition.
One of the most common questions from customers is:
Do you offer a repointing service?
Yes, I provide repointing services ranging from partial to full repoints, tailored to the customer’s requirements.
Are the chemicals you use hazardous?
All chemicals can be hazardous if handled improperly.
However, Cleaning King Worthing is fully industry-trained and strictly adheres to all Health and Safety regulations while working on customers’ premises.
The products I use are exclusively available to registered trade professionals.
They are government-approved soft wash solutions and fully biodegradable.
Upon completion of the job, all treated surfaces are neutralized, ensuring they are safe for both people and pets to walk on.
How can I prevent weeds from growing again after the surface has been cleaned?
This is an excellent question. The only effective way to prevent weed growth is through regular weed control during the growing season, either manually or by using commercially available weed control products. Always read and follow the label instructions before use.
